 meeting him, today and meeting him as a professional one would never know Nathan’s background.

You can take the boy out of Tipton, but you cannot take Tipton out of the boy.

Nathan is a chemist. He is brilliant chemist. Currently he is studying for his PhD at university while working simultaneously as a consultant. At work, he is considered brilliant. 

Living in Huddersfield one might mistake Nathan for a stereotypical northern chemist.

Lanky and slender, with glasses and pale skin attributed to typical studious many hours indoors and much time on the computer and in a lab.

Nathan attended his interview three-piece suit. 

Yet beneath this misleading exterior, lies the beating heart of a boy raised in Tipton. A highly intelligent, sensitive boy, interested in facts, and with a brilliant mind. It is perhaps no wonder that he has mastered jujitsu. It is perhaps no wonder that he joined the army cadets where he trained in battlefield first aid.

On first sight, one would think that Nathan is a wimp who needs protecting. However, when you know what is behind the nerdy exterior all of a sudden do you feel safe with Nathan. I think perhaps it would be him that would win in a street fight.

like a king, abandoned as a baby prince, and raised by the wolves, Nathan, wears the streets of Tipton, the culture of the black country like protective armour.
