Sean was a type one diabetic. He was from one of the southern islands of the coast of Great Britain..
Going away to university, Sean took a room in university accommodation, so that he could be sure of having a fridge in his room as he needed somewhere to keep his insulin.
Sean had shoulder length dark brown permed hair. At least I assumed it was a perm, or it was naturally curly.
Who was part of a group of friends, who were all destined to get a good class of degree.
A sort of middley group of friends. Not out and out nerds. not party animals. Somewhere in between.
The type of students who attended all of the lectures. But who enjoyed drink And a night out, but not too wild a night out.
In the summer, Shaun would return home where he worked as an ice cream van man. Serving ice creams to the host and thirsty people who would largely be tourists or local day trippers, enjoying a day out.
Shawn enjoyed the company of his university mates. He’d Join them for a few drinks in the pub and once for a day trip to Blackpool.
One of this group of friends, a woman, Also had dark brown curly hair. From behind, they looked identical.
This lead to the comical incident of Sean, being mistaken from behind by an overly friendly stranger in the pub with Sean for the female friend. He was quite keen on chatting him up until he turned around..
The man almost fell over, stepping back in the panic while the pub roared with laughter.
