 Today I got two emails from the hospital about Jonathan‘s diabetes treatment. There was also an email from the pharmacy and a phone call from the diabetes nurse.

The first was an invite to a piece of software an app called glucose. Glooko. To the hospital to monitor sugars.

The second was an email from the hospital to let me know that they sent me happened to give me some instructions as how to use it.

I also received a telephone call from the diabetes nurse to review Jonathan ratios. To change his evening ratio for his dinner to 7.5 from 8.5. This way, he’ll be taking more insulin.

They also received an email from the pharmacy to let me know that Jonathan has been prescribed levothyroxine 25 mg a day and that should be arriving in the next two days.

When Jonathan got home, I’ve fed him a low-carb meal of cauliflower and broccoli cheese and we sat down together to set up glooko.

I also told him to change his ratios as per job information to 7 1/2 from 8 1/2 for the evening meal from 4 pm.
