Medical writer covering letter

 

I am a life sciences graduate with a 2:1 in biological and biochemical sciences. Upon graduation, I provided administrative and writing support to a clinical team at an NHS hospital . My main role was writing up observations, diagnoses and treatment plans. I also provided ghostwriting support for a psychologists. 

In my most recent role I have provided three years of copywriting. In this role I have written engaging articles on scientific subjects including pharmaceutical and medical writing. my articles are published in trade media, online and in general publications both physical and virtual. 

I wrote and presented as an invited speaker for a pharmaceutical engineering conference. This presentation included a case study of an international aesthetic pharmaceutical business.

I am experienced in writing technical writing from my 28 years in industrial and academic science and engineering. I have seven peer reviewed papers in journals from my PhD.

In my spare time, I write on scientific and mental health subjects based upon lived experience, education and professional experience.
