In this video we’ll look at setting transactions as favourites using transaction codes. Each transaction allows you to carry out a particular task as part of your job. You may be required to use 12 or five or any number of transaction codes to save you from having to remember these and then to the manually we recommend setting up the transactions you need in a favourites folder this way you can easily access your relevant transactions. There are a variety of you can set up a favourite it’s a case of choosing the way that most comfortable for you the first way to click the favourites folder select insert transaction you can enter the relevant transaction code that you’d like to add to your favourites list. Your favourite has now been added to the favourites folder. However the favourite only provides a description of the transaction not the actual transaction code. You could edit each description and manually type in the transaction code but this can be quite time-consuming if you have multiple transactions listed in your favourites Look at editing descriptions in a few moments to automatically display the transaction code against the favour go to extras and then settings dear you need to put a tick in the display technical names box then click the green tick to continue. Click the green to confirm the change. You can repeat this process for as many transactions as you would like and rename them if you wish rather than accessing your transaction by manually entering it in the command field you can now double click on your favourite to open the transaction Let’s briefly recap what we’ve seen we begun by right clicking on the favourites folder selecting in transaction then entering in the transaction code then choosing to display the technical name which displayed the code and then choosing the edit button to change the displayed name of your favourite concludes this first video looking at one way to a favourite
