Chapter 1: Where I Come From

Theme: Origins & Early Impressions

  • Earliest memories and the atmosphere of your childhood.

  • The people who raised you — what they taught or withheld.

  • The emotional landscape of your young self.

  • Foundational cultural, spiritual, or environmental influences.

Optional Prompt:

“The first place I ever felt safe (or unsafe) was…”


Chapter 2: Becoming Me

Theme: Identity, Labels, and Longing

  • Your early sense of identity and when it started to shift.

  • Cultural, gender, family, or social expectations placed on you.

  • First feelings of not fitting in — or finally belonging.

  • How you began to shape who you were, on your own terms.

Optional Prompt:

“For a long time, I thought I was supposed to be...”


Chapter 3: Cracks in the Foundation

Theme: Loss, Disruption, and Change

  • Key moments of rupture, loss, or trauma.

  • Times when life “broke open” — willingly or not.

  • Who or what helped you through.

  • What these changes revealed about your strength, vulnerability, or beliefs.

Chapter 4: Love, Trust, and Connection

Theme: Relationships That Shaped You

  • People who transformed your heart — friends, lovers, family.

  • The ways you’ve experienced intimacy, conflict, loyalty, or betrayal.

  • Times when love healed you or wounded you.

  • How you define “home” in human form.

  • Who you are now — and what it took to become this version.

  • What you've forgiven — in yourself and others.

  • How you live differently now.

  • What you'd want someone else to know about your journey.

Optional Chapter 10: What Comes Next

Theme: Looking Ahead

  • Hopes, dreams, and visions for the future.

  • What you’re still learning or surrendering to.

  • A letter to your future self — or to the world.
